Can I use your Schema blocks in the Classic Editor?
In short; no.
The longer answer: The new block editor offers unique opportunities for users, theme- and plugin developers. One of the biggest advantages of the block editor over the classic editor we see at Yoast is that it allows us to properly implement Schema.
That’s why Yoast SEO adds HowTo and FAQ blocks to your editing experience. These custom blocks are using the full potential the block editor offers when it comes to implementing Schema microdata.
The old Classic Editor doesn’t have this block-based structure and thus doesn’t allow the easy implementation of Schema. That’s why Yoast’s custom blocks are not available for the Classic Editor.
