Can I Disable The Content Readability Analysis?

Yoast SEO 3.3 included a content analysis to help users write high-quality content that actually ranks. We definitely recommend using it, but in response to user feedback, you can disable the content analysis site wide or per user.

The ability to disable the content analysis was added in version 3.3.2

Site Wide

Log in to your WordPress website. When you’re logged in, you will be in your ‘Dashboard’. On the left-hand side, you will see a menu. In that menu, click on ‘SEO’.

The ‘SEO’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Dashboard’.
Yoast SEO > Dashboard

Click on the Features tab.

Toggle Readability analysis to disabled.wpseo_titles-metas_readability

Save Changes.

Per User

Log in to your WordPress website. When you’re logged in, you will be in your ‘Dashboard’. On the left-hand side, you will see a menu. In that menu, click on ‘Users’.

The ‘Users’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Your Profile’ to disable for yourself or click ‘Edit’ on another user to disable for them.

Check the Disable readability analysis box.wpseo_users_profile

Save Changes.
