How to Customize the Author Sitemap

Last update: 20 April, 2018
Excluding an author page does not remove the author’s pages or posts in other sitemaps.

Our plugin can create a sitemap that lists the author pages. Author pages are a page that lists all content written by a specific user on your site.

Single Author Websites

As you have one author, your author archives are the same as your blog homepage  and thus can be considered duplicate content which is not good for SEO. • Log in to your WordPress website. When you’re logged in, you will be in your ‘Dashboard’. On the left-hand side, you will see a menu. In that menu, click on ‘SEO’.
  • The ‘SEO’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Search Appearance’.
  • Click on the Archives tab.
