How to update your PHP version

We also have a KB article if you want to know if your WordPress site is ready for PHP 7.

Most hosts have documentation explaining how you can update your PHP version yourself. We always advise creating a backup for your website before making any major changes.

If you don't know how to ask support from your host via email, you can read our Example email for your host.
